Grievance Redressal Committee

BIMS has established a Grievance Redressal Committee to ensure fair, transparent, and timely resolution of student grievances, in line with AICTE, UGC, and Government guidelines. The committee, composed of the Principal, faculty members, and student representatives, takes a collaborative approach to address concerns.

  1. Commitment to Fairness & Transparency: A fair, transparent process for resolving grievances.
  2. Three-Tier System
    • Class Level: Addressed by class teachers.
    • Department Level: Managed by department heads.
    • College Level: Handled by the Grievance Redressal Cell, overseen by the Principal.
  3. Timely Resolution: Grievances are resolved within a set timeframe with follow-up communication.
  4. Confidentiality: All complaints are handled confidentially.
  5. Zero Tolerance: Strict policies against unethical behaviours such as ragging, harassment, and violence.
  6. Empowered Cell: The Grievance Redressal Cell can take necessary disciplinary actions.
  7. Collaborative Approach: The cell works with faculty, staff, and student representatives.
  8. Periodic Review: Regular assessments of the grievance process and feedback collection.
  9. Clear Documentation: All grievances are recorded for transparency.
  10. Support for Vulnerable Groups: Special support for marginalized and disabled students.
