The Anti-Ragging Cell of Bethania Institute of Management Studies is a dedicated body committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The cell ensures a supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and protected. Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited and treated as a grave violation of human dignity. The cell actively works to prevent ragging through awareness campaigns, strict enforcement of anti-ragging policies, and a robust support system for students. By fostering a culture of mutual respect, the Anti-Ragging Cell aims to ensure the holistic well-being of every student. Any instance of ragging within the institution will be addressed with utmost seriousness, following legal provisions and institutional rules.

To proactively prevent ragging through education, strict enforcement of anti-ragging measures, and empowering students with the knowledge and confidence to report incidents. The cell aims to build an atmosphere of trust and inclusivity.

Objectives

• To educate students about the harmful effects and legal consequences of ragging.
• To prohibit any verbal or physical behaviour that undermines the dignity of students.
• To actively deter incidents of ragging through vigilant monitoring.
• To address ragging complaints and take necessary actions per established protocols.

Functions

  • Conducting workshops, seminars, and awareness programs for students and staff.
  • Maintaining effective communication channels for reporting incidents.
  • Offering counselling services to students and spreading awareness about anti-ragging policies.
  • Implement all essential steps to prevent ragging within the campus.

The Anti-Narcotics Cell of Bethania Institute of Management Studies is a proactive body dedicated to creating a drug-free campus and fostering a safe, healthy, and productive learning environment. Recognizing the harmful effects of substance abuse, the cell works tirelessly to educate students about the dangers of narcotics and empowers them to make informed and responsible choices.

Vision

To create a drug-free campus that nurtures holistic growth, enabling students to lead healthy and purposeful lives while becoming responsible members of society.

Mission

To prevent substance abuse through education, awareness campaigns, and strict enforcement of anti-narcotics policies. The cell aims to empower students to resist peer pressure, make positive choices, and actively contribute to a drug-free community.

Objectives

• To raise awareness about the physical, mental, and social consequences of drug use.
• To enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy on substance abuse within the campus.
• To promote a culture of self-discipline and informed decision-making among students.
• To foster a sense of social responsibility and awareness about the impact of substance abuse.

Functions

  • Conduct seminars, awareness programs and workshops on the harmful effects of substance abuse.
  • Monitor college premises to detect and prevent any incidents of substance abuse or drug-related activities.
  • Establish confidential communication channels for students to report narcotics-related concerns anonymously.
